Update on cannabis legalization steps

Here are a few details of the process in New Jersey, according to the New Jersey Law Journal:

The adult-use cannabis legalization bill is expected to see the legislative finish line—or what has been up to now the elusive light at the end of the tunnel for some—on Thursday when the 40-member Senate is expected to take it up for a vote.

But first there will be a review and vote on the most recent amendments to the 200-plus page “New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Act” (S-21/A-21) on Monday by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
