Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang tells Trump ‘we’re not going to let [an AI slowdown] happen’

Though Elon Musk and Sam Altman have supported Dario Amodei’s calls to slow the pace of AI development, Jensen Huang seems to feel differently.

While Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was onstage at the All-In Summit on Monday morning in Los Angeles, he got a phone call that he couldn’t send to voicemail — it was from President Donald Trump.

“I’m onstage with the besties,” Huang told Trump, referring to the venture capitalists who host the podcast All-In, including tech investors Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, and White House advisers David Friedberg and David Sacks.
