MAGA’s Midterm Meltdown

On Tuesday, until late in the afternoon, Clay Travis was adamant that voting data wasn’t showing any signs of a historic Democratic sweep in the midterm elections. “The data so far, and again, I am speaking at 3 p.m. Eastern, a little bit after now, there’s no blue wave. A blue wave has not materialized in the country so far,” the OutKick founder, Fox News commentator, and prominent radio host posted on social media.

By the end of the night, of course, the picture looked dramatically different. Democrats had delivered a stunning rebuke of Republicans, flipping longtime GOP strongholds in the Senate, including Texas and South Carolina, and leaving right-wing media figures scrambling to explain how they had so badly misread the electorate.
