Over the past few weeks, the world has been watching the reporting coming out of Minneapolis. The immigration crackdown of Operation Metro Surge, protests, and the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti would be long and trying times for any local newsroom.

This isn’t the first time Minnesota newsrooms have faced trying news cycles, and local journalists are rising to the moment. They’re also exhausted.
