On Wednesday around noon, Condé Nast staffers received an invitation to an all-hands company meeting, making good on a promise outgoing chief executive Roger Lynch made in his departure memo last week to address staffers publicly about what comes next. The invitation, obtained by Status, features fall foliage surrounding 1 World Trade Center, the company’s headquarters, with black-and-white circular headshots of interim chief Mike Perlis and Lynch floating below the building. Perlis’ portrait slightly eclipses Lynch’s—a subtle visual signal of the transition.

Staffers are invited to a live conversation between Lynch and Perlis on Monday in Studio 1, Condé’s 24th-floor event space, which will also be livestreamed globally so everyone can tune in to meet their new, if temporary, boss. Those who attend in person will be treated to coffee and bagels afterward, while everyone else got a button at the bottom of the invitation to submit questions.
