The network gave the Justice Department until Thursday to confirm the White House will stop excluding its journalists

CNN warned the Trump administration Monday that it would take additional legal action if the White House continues to block its journalists from Air Force One and the Oval Office.

In a letter to the Department of Justice, CNN outside counsel Ted Boutrous called the White House’s efforts to block CNN “mistaken, counterproductive, and unlawful,” CNN reported Tuesday. He demanded that the department confirm that the White House would “abandon any policy of excluding CNN from the Oval Office and Air Force One” by Thursday evening.
