Buried in Trump’s 1,300-word Bill Maher rant was some news about the press
In his record-long post, the president said he isn’t bringing back the White House pool. Moving the press, however, is apparently on the table.
President Donald Trump loves Truth Social. He loves to go on diatribes blasting his supposed enemies, many of whom are in the media.
Hardly a day goes by when Trump doesn’t lash out at a news organization such as CNN or The New York Times or even Fox News. It’s not unusual for him to verbally attack a specific reporter, such as the Times’ Maggie Haberman or CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.
But over the weekend, Trump set a record for one of his Truth Social posts. He wrote 1,322 words — the longest post he has ever written on the social network — criticizing HBO host and comedian Bill Maher.
