Big, big trouble at ‘60 Minutes’
It’s getting hard to find articles on “60 Minutes” that do not describe the newsmagazine as “storied.” Examples are all over the place, right and left, up and down. Clichés sometimes have a point, too, considering that the weekly program is the highly rated envy of its competitors in broadcast journalism. The gold standard of TV news, as another oft-repeated characterization has it.
